Introduction

Greetings and welcome!

My goal with this blog, is to provide a supporting narrative on various facets of the local wine industry. I hope to create content that is valuable to insiders, and accessible to others.

There are many things i look forward to posting about and i am excited to start!

I am a Virginia winemaker with over 14 years in the industry. When I finished school, I knew I wanted to apply my education to agriculture, and immediately was in the vineyard and cellar. Aside from a few short sabbaticals, I have never left.

Now with many vintages in bottle, I have grown dreams to plant more vineyards and make greater wines. With this driving me, I feel as though I am fully engaged in what will be my life’s work. The potential for finding nuance, detail, and quality in a young region such as ours is only beginning to be explored. We are in a Renaissance era Mid-Atlantic wine and there is so much to explore.

I hope that in time i can develop a personality in my content that will be unique and enjoyable to viewers. I am committed to being ethical and transparent. For now my goals are modest with my content, but i hope this will grow into something more as i work my way through a few projects.
